Representation

Whether it be international events such as MIDEM or ICMP meetings or local/regional events such as music festivals or competitions, the PMPA believes it is essential to maintain a presence on behalf of its members on these occasions, and to use the opportunity to better inform songwriters on the role and functions performed by music publishers.

At the same time, the PMPA is also involved with various administrative and governmental issues of interest to its members. Such as, for example, the establishment and maintenance of government assistance programs to music publishing enterprises, as well as those relating to respect and fair compensation for the rights of publishers and, therefore, those of the authors and composers they represent.
